A year ago Anton emailed me. He wanted me to draw a couple of Moscow routes. Given the fact that I had never been in the capital, the task was exhausting. It was hard enough, but we managed to do it. Thus, I found myself at Mama Ro. All year we were working on other projects. We became friends.

In May, I came to Moscow for a visit.

City, people, rhythm of life, Mama Ro – all these made me fall in love. We were often riding in the old Land Rover: I was looking out the window, Anton and Vova were talking about something and Nastya was smoking. We were also working a lot, though it was fun. I met an insane amount of people who loved their job: Valery Fedorovich, Uncle Sasha, Sonia, Tolya, Kostya, Alikhan, Yegor, Dima ... So, I started seeing Mama Ro as a huge place where were different people with different hobbies who complemented each other and produced a stunning result.

Mama Ro is a way of life. It is a project with a soul. The idea which catches everyone around. People who impress with their talent and capacity for work.

I must admit that it is a nice feeling to be a part of this process.

Vova and me have found new shoes*. Moscow is a generous city. * – In the evenings after work we were going home by two-wheeled transport.

In the smoking room on Gusyatnikov. Kostya's* stories. * – Kostya – a legendary hero of Mama Ro, a wood master, he looks like young Oleg Dal because of his facial expressions and gestures. His hands turned the ordinary tract of ash-tree into furniture for the Bauhaus studio.

In the Land Rover car somewhere near Moscow at midnight. Alikhan* is confused, his dad is furious. * – Alikhan is an author of the "Mama Ro" video. He is a talented adult and child at the same time who accidentally fell asleep in the backseat and did not notice that he came to Kratovo with his friends.

The car is serving as a Holy Light on the way to “Krakov”.* * – Kratovo village where Mama Ro rented a workshop for furniture making. The frightened Alikhan's parents misunderstood what was going on.

Valery Fedorovich* is sawing, planning, grinding again. * – Valery Fedorovich – a master-«Titan», wise geologist and tireless swinger. The Pine studio was created with his efforts.

Uncle Sasha* at work. * – "Uncle Sasha" is Volodya's father, who selflessly carved a bull for the kitchen of the Stone studio and the bed of the river boulders.

Excursion in the yard of the Melnikov house. Egor* is telling something interesting again – you can tell it from my face. * – Egor – a poet and architect, who built the formulas to find out the load of joints for metal constructions in Mama Ro. His friendship with the descendants of the famous architect and a contagious passion for architecture had led us to this house, which became the inspiration for the whole studio.
