The elongated interior of the Chinese studio with five windows is associated with a small journey for a particular reason: you can climb up and have rest on the bamboo platform on the way from one place to another and after your rest you can then get back down and continue your way. The 13-meter-long Chinese scroll which encircles the studio transfers this activity to a new dimension: since ancient times in China pictorial scrolls served as an analogue of travel, passing along everything that the artist had seen and contemplated on his way. This studio will appeal to lovers of oriental art and travel.
