Rates and Capacity

We offer some of our studios for events. As they are initially designed for accommodation, each studio’s metric area is from 35 to 55m2, we accept bookings for events only from 2pm (14:00) until 10pm (22:00) for up to 15 people maximum (the amount of people that can comfortably stay in the studio and at the same time not disturb other Mama Ro guests). After 10pm (22:00) we ask guests to stay in the studio in the amount for which it was designed. You can find more details on holding events in the FAQ section (frequently asked questions).

Please note that the rate is valid until the end of the current month and may differ in the future. Unfortunately, the “Chinese”, “French”, “Byzantine”, “Suprematist”, “Street Art”, “Old Moscow”, “Avia”, “Neo Moscow” and “Sarai” are not available for events.

The Security Deposit for the time of the Event

We take a security deposit of 5000 rubles for the time when the event takes place which is refunded at the time of check out.

Discounts

There is a single system of discounts at Mama Ro Apartments for all the types of booking including for events.

For guests who book a studio directly at Mama Ro, there is an accumulative system: 5% discount for 5 bookings, 7% – after 7 bookings and 10% – after 10 bookings.

You can also place an order for the Mama Ro discount card. The cost of the card with a 5% discount is 5 000 rubles, 7% – 7 000 rubles, 10% – 10 000 rubles. The card is issued indefinitely.

The Order of Booking

The studios are booked on the basis of a daily lease. When booking on our website and other online booking websites you automatically sign an offer agreement, and on the day of arrival, you need to sign a daily rent agreement as well.

Procedure of Booking and Payment

The studios can be booked upon a prepayment. The deposit amount corresponds to the daily rate of the studio. The rest of the payment and security deposit are charged on the day of arrival to the studio.

There are the following cancellation terms for booking a studio for an event:
– Free cancellation or change of reservation dates are possible no later than 3 days before the check-in date (00:00 before 72 hours Moscow time – GMT + 3).
– In case the reservation is cancelled or modified later than 3 days before the check-in date, the prepayment will not be refunded.

Payment Methods

We accept 3 types of payment: cash, bank card and payment on account.

If you plan to pay cash, we are ready to close the studio for one hour for you for the time you need to get to us that no one would be able to book it.

If you want to pay with a card, please use the booking system of our website. You can also pay at our office at Chistye Prudy. In this case, make sure to warn us in advance so that we close the studio while you are on your way to us. We accept the following types of cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club and Union Pay.

To pay with a bank account, please send us a request by mail or certain social networks. In the case where you pay as a company, we need your bank details, and if you pay as a regular person – your passport details. We close the studio for three hours for the payment on account, so that nobody can book it at the same time. Please pay attention that this type of payment is available only for Russian bank accounts or passport details.

Check-in in the Studio

The Check in time is at 2pm (14:00). An event needs to be over by 10pm (22:00). The Check out time is no later than noon of the next day.

If it’s possible, please make sure to provide us with accurate information about the time of your arrival and your contact information as we make a schedule of arrivals where we mark if you need to check-in earlier than the official time and, thus, your studio needs to be cleaned first.

FAQ (Frequently
Asked Questions)

– What is an event?

The Mama Ro studios were created, first and foremost, for guests and travellers accommodation. Therefore, we consider events and occasions for a meeting something other than accommodation and we see it as involving more people than the studio was made for. So, if you are planning to invite more people and plan on celebrating a holiday, we kindly ask to respect to the event holding rules of Mama Ro Apartments (see “Rates and Capacity” paragraph above).

– Are the bride’s preparations considered as an event?

No, this is the only type of occasion that we don’t classify as an event. We will be pleased to offer you our studio for the bride’s preparations at the usual rate, but in this case, there are some rules which you can find in the “Accommodation” section, FAQ paragraph (frequently asked questions).

– Is it possible to make noise and listen to loud music during the event?

Yes, it is possible. The deposit you leave for the time of the event serves also as a financial guarantee in case you disturb your neighbours too much, in this case we will be able to give them a discount for the inconvenience. However, we kindly ask you not to forget that bad neighbours are unhappy neighbours and our diplomatic possibilities are not limitless, so if you know that you will have an extremely loud party and a lot of traffic, you may want to find a more distant space away from where people come to rest.

– Is it possible to use adjoining to a studio space (hallways, smoking area, doorway, court next to the house)?

Yes, but we kindly ask you to respect the rest of other guests, please do not make noise in public spaces. In addition, please make sure to close the door when leaving the studio for a smoke break, because when you leave the door open the noise isolation of the studio becomes much worse.

– Is it possible to smoke a hookah and light candles in the studio?

Smoking is forbidden in the studios and adjoining areas (hallways, utility rooms), this rule is also applied to smoking hookah. However, we have a specially reserved place for this in Mama Ro at Chistye Prudy, which we will show you when you arrive. Please note that studios are equipped with smoke detectors, and the penalty for a violation of the non-smoking rule is 5000 rubles.

We also kindly ask you not to use candles and sparklers or any other open flame in the studios as they are not safe.

– Can I invite a DJ with a DJ set?

We honestly recommend you to find a larger space with powerful sound insulation for a very noisy party with a DJ, as our studios are not that large and not well equipped for such events.

– Is it possible to increase the number of guests after 10pm (22:00) if we pay for an additional place?

Unfortunately, not. After 10pm (22:00) only the amount of people that the studio was designed for can stay there for the night exclusively in the residence format. We kindly ask you to respect this constraint.

– Is it considered a shoot if a photographer comes to an event and will it affect the price?

No, personal photo sessions are free and do not affect the price. However, in the case of commercial and professional use of the photos, the price might be changed according to the conditions of the shoot in the territory of Mama Ro. – Why do you need a security deposit and when it is refunded?

The security deposit which you leave at the moment of arrival to the studio is a guarantee for the safety of the property in the studio, as well as the guarantee of compliance with the rules listed in this section. At the time of arrival we sign a contract which includes an inventory of the existing property in the studio, therefore the deposit is returned to you immediately when the studio is delivered in good condition and if all the event holding rules were respected.
